Adding a Creative Brief

From the left menu, select “Creative Briefs”.

From the Creative Brief page, select “New Creative Brief”. A modal window will load.

The following fields make up the brief:

  • Creative Brief Title: The name of the asset to be created
  • Draft Due & Final Due: First draft review & final draft due date
  • Asset Type: Select the type of asset to be created ( I can add more options if needed)
  • Designer: Ashley Hickey
  • SI Team Members: Anyone who will sign off on the deliverable.
    • Note: All of you are able to view all Creative Briefs. All SI Team Members will be notified of updates.
  • Tags: Used for searching and filtering if desired
  • Deliverables Requested/ Intended Use: What we are making e.g. Social media graphic for use on Twitter, Linked In
    • I combined these two as they are often duplicated.
  • Target Audience: No change
  • Dimensions / Format: Size of the image and format
    • Note: Size does not need to be populated if social media, mail chimp, or web.
  • Brand Adherence: Only populate if non-standard brand, e.g. JIC
  • Social Tags: Only Populate if non-standard hashtags are needed.
  • Canva: Designer to populate
  • Folder Link: Paste the link to the Google Drive folder containing the assets and set the “Title” to “Link”. Select Apply.
  • Creative Brief Description: All relevant information. I recommend typing this information in a Google Doc and paste it here.

Select, Save. I will receive a notification that there is a new Creative Brief assigned to me.
